The strike is over. The administration and the transport reached an agreement n 1,8%. The service is reestablished in the capital.
The problem started when the local government announced the renovation of old buses and decided that all companies will receive a compensation of a monthly 1,5 % of the total value of the old car for two decades. The transporters did not accept the number and claimed 1,8 % arguing that it is the right for the economies of their families. The bitter discussion between transport and local government affected the mobility in the capital and even created violent events. (more…)
