Santos after elections

President Barack Obama called Colombian elected president Juan Manuel Santos to congratulate his victory to the Nariño House. Obama manifested also his interest in strength the relations between both countries. At the same time, Santos is preparing what is going to be his government after August 7, meeting national personalities and reveling his perspectives over different issues of national concern.

The presidential candidate of the Green Party, Antanas Mockus, declared that his group will not seek political alliances to the second round. Mockus was second during the May 30′s voting that gave to Juan Manuel Santos a great advantage against the predictions of a joint result.

Colombian doctors joined Petros campaign

Some Colombian associations of doctors joined the presidential campaign of Gustavo Petro, the candidate of the Democratic Pole Party. The doctors said that his proposals are the most appropriate to change the current Colombian system of health.
