<p>In this tour, the Colombian vessel has been around the Pacific basin coming from Japan to South Korea, Philippines and now Australia. Diego Betancur, the Colombian ambassador in Sydney leaded the diplomatic delegation to welcome the crew of 149 men.</p>
<p>The vessel is considered the marine embassy of Colombia in the world and has visited several countries were it promotes the image and identity of the South American nation. In Sidney it is open to the public. During its first day it received 4 thousand visitors.</p>
<p>The flag of The Gloria is considered the biggest of the world (18 x 13 meters). In order to hoist the flag, it is necessary the help of six men.</p>
