Vice-president Garzón under intensive care

The Colombian vice-president, Angelino Garzón, is under intensive care after a successful surgery in the Shaio Clinic of Bogotá. Garzón got a heart disease and a strong pain in his chest at about 5 AM of Monday and he was brought by an ambulance of the Ministry of Health to the clinic. The medical report is rather positive and he must stay in the clinic for recovery.

Santos after elections

President Barack Obama called Colombian elected president Juan Manuel Santos to congratulate his victory to the Nariño House. Obama manifested also his interest in strength the relations between both countries. At the same time, Santos is preparing what is going to be his government after August 7, meeting national personalities and reveling his perspectives over different issues of national concern.
