Farc guerrillas said that in two or three weeks more will confirm the release of some hostages and give their location. The insurgent group gave the communicate through the director of the weekly Voz, Carlos Lozano. Farc said that it will be done as soon as it is clear the conformation of the humanitarian commission to receive the hostages.Lozano said that the meeting between Sen. Piedad Córdoba and the official high commissioner for peace, Luis Carlos Restrepo, was positive. What is expecting now is the conformation of the humanitarian committee in order to get the location of the place where the Farc will release the hostages.
For Lozano, a journalist, the release could be done in two or three weeks if everything is okay. He said also that for Farc the humanitarian commission is a kind of institutional personality to support the process. It is something necessary, because it gives to Farc the enough trust to fulfill its promise, said the journalist.
About the logistic of the release, Lozano said that there are some alternatives like the use of Venezuelan military helicopters with signs of the Red Cross.
