People Departing the Metro

Donnelly described himself like this:

My name is George Donnelly and I’m a 36 y.o. dad, business owner, sysadmin, objectivist, writer, Libertarian Party member and University of Chicago grad from Pennsylvania who’s into history, Colombia, FreeBSD, civil liberties, limited government, SciFi, Golden Retrievers, tea, optimism and dark chocolate.

He has been visiting or living in Colombia since 1994, mostly in Antioquia, but he has visited most of the Andean region including the Eje Cafetero, Bogota and lots of small towns in between, the Atlantic coast and the Caribbean island of San Andres.

photo from 2008The picture above “People departing the Metro”:

I took this at Universidad station of Medellin’s Metro. I love the Metro. It’s clean, climate-controlled and on time. The view from the Metro is impressive at many locations along the line. While it gets crowded at times, the people are always nice. Even tough-looking teenagers will give up their seat for older folks, pregnant women and, surprisingly, for a big man carrying a baby. When you come to Medellin, ride the Metro and see what I mean – firsthand.

Hello. My wife and I bought our house about 6 months ago. It was a foreclosure and we were able to get a great deal on it. We also took advantage of the 8K tax credit so that definitely helped. We did an extensive remodeling job and now I want to refinance to cut the term to a 20 or 15 year loan. Does anyone know any good sites for mortgage information? Thanks!

    Mike
